Henry
Henry is a 2-year-old Cane Corso cross who’s had a tough, confusing start to life. Passed between unsuitable homes and kennels, he’s had very little stability — something that’s especially hard on guarding breeds like him. Despite everything, Henry’s true nature is beginning to shine through.
Over the past few months, he’s made incredible progress with recall and training. He loves being groomed, happily lets you check his paws and ears, and enjoys calm body handling. He even takes treats (especially cheese!) so gently it’ll melt your heart. 
Henry does still react to some dogs and strangers, so he’ll need ongoing training and understanding from someone who gets him and experienced with large guarding breeds. What he really needs now is a calm, consistent home — ideally one-to-one, where he can build trust at his own pace.
