Chester is a 3 year old alapaha blueblood bulldog who knows basic commands, is clean in the home and loves his toys. He has settled well in his foster home where we have been able to carefully assess what type of home he needs.

He needs an adult only home and would do better as someones whole focus, he bonds quickly to his caregivers.

He needs a confident handler as Chester may feel like he has to protect you outside of the home, for this reason Chester needs to be muzzled on walks, this is a non-negotiable and will be explained to whomever applies for him.

Chester needs a garden he can play in with his person and enjoys shorter sniffy walks. Before coming into our care he had TPLO surgery due to a cruciate ligament injury, for this reason he is on a diet and needs to be kept on the lighter side. This isn’t an ongoing medical issue.

He’s a wonderful boy who is eager to please.
