Narla
Narla is a 3-year-old Great Dane cross Mastiff looking for a very specific home that understands and appreciates large, powerful breeds.
This beautiful girl has the most wonderful, affectionate temperament and is incredibly intelligent. She adores human company and would happily snuggle on the sofa with her people. Due to her size and strength, Narla would be best suited to a home with older children who can confidently interact with a giant breed (and don’t mind the occasional clumsy moment!).
Narla has been showing reactivity and has a high prey drive, particularly towards smaller dogs and small animals. Because of this, she will need an experienced, knowledgeable owner who understands dog behaviour and can continue her training with consistent boundaries and confident handling.
For Narla to truly thrive, she needs to be the only dog in the home. She bonds closely with her humans and will do best as the sole focus of attention and guidance.
No small furries or small animals, please.
She absolutely loves having freedom to run around safely in an enclosed paddock — being able to properly stretch her legs in a secure space is where she really shines and allows her to burn off energy in a positive way. A home that can offer a secure space or access to safe enclosed exercise areas would be ideal for her.
She can be slightly nervous at times, but may try to take charge when unsure, so she will need a calm, confident handler who can provide clear structure and reassurance.
Narla needs space — a secure, good-sized garden and adopters who enjoy countryside or nature walks where she can explore safely
